VinFast has agreed to supply two companies in Indonesia with a fleet of 10,000 vehicles each

Vietnamese EV maker VinFast Auto signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Indonesian companies PT Satu Kosong Tujuh and PT Sembilan Benua Abadi. The agreements specified that the VinFast will supply both companies with fleets of 10,000 EVs each by 2028.
The MoUs stated that PT Sembilan Benua Abadi will purchase their 10,000 vehicles by the end of 2027, while PT Satu Kojong Tujuh will do so by the end of 2028.
Both companies operate are transportation solution providers, meaning the vehicles will be used for commercial transportation services.
COLLABORATING WITH VINFAST
VinFast will supply 20,000 units of their compact SUV Nerio Green and 7-seater Limo Green.
Both models are part of VinFast’s “Green” lineup, which were specifically developed for transportation service fleets. With fuel prices continuing to rise globally, the purchase of these electric fleets will not only lower costs for the Indonesian companies but also reduce their respective carbon emissions.
An executive from each company gave their own respective statements regarding their agreements.
“We have strong confidence in VinFast and its potential to build a comprehensive, inclusive, and accessible electric mobility ecosystem. This agreement aligns with our long-term vision of transitioning to fully electric vehicles and proactively embracing the green transformation trend across the region and globally,” said PT Satu Kosong Tujuh President Director Nirzam Pahmi.
“We are impressed with Nerio Green and Limo Green not only for their product quality but also for the sustainable development vision they represent. These models are highly promising solutions that align with the practical needs of consumers amid the transition toward green transportation,” stated PT Sembilan Benua Abadi CEO, Wempy Suciadi.
Finally, VinFast Indonesia CEO Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto said of the collaboration: “We are honoured to collaborate with reputable partners in Indonesia to accelerate EV adoption and advance the green transition. Partnering with experienced enterprises that possess deep local market understanding will enable VinFast to rapidly expand market coverage and bring modern mobility solutions closer to Indonesian consumers.”
VinFast entered the Indonesian market in 2024. The Vietnamese EV manufacturer currently offers the VF 3, VF 5, VF e34, VF 6, VF 7 and the VF MPV 7 as part of its passenger car lineup. Aside from its broad retail network, the company is also set to build its own assembly plant in Subang and support the Indonesian government in the development of a new toll road in the same area.
