A Fleet Manager with over 5 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector and local government, Aleta excels in bridging strategic vision with actionable plans to align fleet objectives with smooth, efficient operations. Experienced in managing diverse fleets, including the transition to electric vehicles (EVs), she focuses on cost optimisation, improved fleet performance, and advancing sustainability goals. Aleta is deeply committed to the fleet industry, embracing the opportunities presented by technological innovations and the ongoing drive for safer, more efficient operational practices.

Drew Schnehage

Director Global Business Development Insure Connect Services

Drew is the Director of Global Business Development at Insure Connect Services (ICS), based in Australia. Drew brings 36 years’ experience across insurance, claims management, and service operations in South Africa and Australia, with a career built on strong client relationships and growing businesses from the ground up.

A proven operator and entrepreneur, Drew previously founded and led a specialist underwriting agency focused on high‑net‑worth insurance, scaling a first‑of‑its‑kind portfolio distributed through broker networks and earning industry recognition as Underwriting Agency of the Year. Drew later moved into corporate leadership, including senior roles with Innovation Group, and relocated to Australia in 2019 to lead operations through significant change and transformation. Drew’s executive experience includes serving as CEO of Solvd Group Australia, strengthening operational performance and deepening expertise in motor claims and service delivery.

At ICS, Drew partners with brokers, underwriting agencies, and insurers to solve capacity and capability challenges by integrating experienced remote insurance teams (underwriting support, claims, and policy administration) to lift customer outcomes and improve scalability. Drew is known for practical, people-first leadership—valuing transparency, high-performing teams, and open, honest communication.

Debbie Rumble

Senior Manager, Fleet Operation, NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure

Debbie Rumble has over 18 years of experience in fleet across a range of different NSW government departments.

In 2023, Deb was appointed to the role of Senior Manager, Fleet Operations for Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI). In this role she is responsible for a diverse fleet of over 3,000 passenger, light commercial, heavy commercial and plant assets that are located across New South Wales.

Deb has been involved in many successful fleet projects across the DPHI fleet including the roll out of vehicle telematics and the introduction of a QR code prestart check for vehicles. She is currently leading the project to increase the number of EV’s in the DPHI fleet to meet whole of government targets.

In 2023 she successfully completed the Diploma of Leadership and Management offered through Swinburne University and AfMA.

General Manager, Thyme Fleet

Sonja started her career and passion for the Automotive Industry in 2012 and has spent the last 6 years as General Manager for Adelaide based FMO Thyme Fleet. Sonja prides herself on her accessible, personalised and customer-centric approach to fleet management. She has a strong focus on building relationships and customising the service provided to each client around their individual needs to improve their day to day fleet operations within their business.

Shanna Cova

Global Business Development Manager ,Geotab

Shanna Cova began her journey in Psychology and has built a career spanning over 10 years in partnership development and strategic planning. She holds dual master’s degrees: one in Data Management and Technology Innovation and another in International Business Management. 

Since joining Geotab in 2018, Shanna has played a pivotal role in managing strategic accounts. Currently she is a Global Business Development Manager, leveraging her expertise in SaaS solutions and her exceptional interpersonal skills to drive the growth of multi-national channel partners in emerging markets. 

Passionate about empowering women in the fleet industry, Shanna has been an active member of AFLA’s Women in Fleet Management (WIFM) task force in North America for the past three years. In this role, she has served as a resource and mentor, inspiring others to achieve personal and professional success in fleet management. 

Originally from Venezuela, Shanna has also lived in Peru and now resides in the United States, bringing a rich cultural perspective to her work and leadership.

Soreya Ahmet

Senior Manager, GML Fleet Management

Soreya has over 20 years in the motor industry, her career started as a sales person selling Peugeots , then moved on to fleet for Holden dealerships , ending her dealership experience at Audi Centre Melbourne as their corporate manager. Soreya then decided to move to the FMO sector as a Regional Manager, working at various companies such as Summit Fleet Leasing, LeasePlan and Custom Fleet. Today she manages GML Fleet Management and heads up the Fleet Department at the Mantello Motor Group.
