A new Motor Museum is currently being built in Brisbane to showcase themed collections of all things automotive. Situated in Banyo, the museum is expected to highlight classic and contemporary cars, memorabilia, and artwork.
The site will have two levels of display which will feature fresh showcases every three months. Displays will include a wide range of topics, dedicated to specific marques, themes, or car clubs.
There will be a meeting room and lounge, motoring library, gift shop, café, and dining area. These spaces may also be used for meetings, team building activities, functions, conferences, seminars, and corporate lunches. Furthermore, there will be an underground car park that can house 30 vehicles at a time.
The motor museum in Brisbane will be among the 50 plus Australian members of the Australasian Motor Museums Association along with the Gold Coast Motor Museum.
Car enthusiasts who possess classic cars, memorabilia, and artwork are invited to display their materials at the museum for loan times of 3 months to a year.
Volunteers are also welcomed to help with the day-to-day operations of the facility. Interested parties may contact the museum here.
