Australasian Fleet Education & Leadership Summit
About this Opportunity
The Australasian Fleet Management Association’s (AfMA) Fleet Education & Leadership Summit is the largest gathering of fleet professionals in Asia Pacific. With several hundred individuals who own, control or influence over 1 million vehicles, it offers a unique platform for sharing knowledge, enhancing safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability, whilst providing an opportunity to foster the next generation of fleet practitioners.
This leading event is designed for fleet and automotive professionals from all industry sectors and stands as a critical forum for discussing the future of fleet management, spotlighting emerging trends, technological innovations, and shifts in mobility.
The Summit offers an unmatched chance for people responsible for fleet management functions from councils, state & territory governments and agencies, the federal government and agencies of Australia and central government and agencies of New Zealand, to participate in vital conversations on standards, policies, and the evolution of fleet management.
AfMA’s Fleet Leadership Summit is dedicated to personal and profession development, addressing the varied needs and challenges faced by anyone responsible for fleet management functions in both the private and public sectors, through its wide-ranging focus.
Why a Scholarship?
Fleet management is a rewarding career however many government departments and agencies don’t have the funding to support development of people responsible for various elements of fleet management.
Further, for many of these people, fleet management is just one element of their responsibilities, and they rely on their state Fleet Management Organisation (FMO) for support. The public sector fleet management scholarship program provides an opportunity for those people to immerse themselves in the fleet industry for two days, facilitating fleet education, personal and professional development, and leadership enabling individuals to feel the length and breadth of our industry.
Scholarships are funded by a consortium of supporting organisations. AfMA acknowledges the need for scholarship winners to remain independent of supporting organisations and therefore AfMA determine scholarship winners based on the merits of applications. No supporting scholarship organisation is involved in selecting the scholarship winners.
