Nissan’s popular X-TRAIL has been treated to an array of major updates for its 2021 model, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard across the range, alongside some substantial safety upgrades.
The new X-TRAIL has also been equipped with Nissan’s next-generation in-vehicle infotainment system for 2021, including a new a 7.0-inch touchscreen with updated graphics. The system delivers a crystal-clear display for the vehicle’s key functions, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, revolutionising the in-cabin experience for driver and passengers.
Adding to the model’s existing and comprehensive safety package, Intelligent Driving Alert is now available with the ST-L grade and above, part of Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility technology, which is designed to make driving safer and easier.
The Intelligent Driving Alert monitors input patterns during a period of driving to establish a baseline. After comparing subsequent driving characteristics relative to that reference point, the vehicle is able to detect and alert the driver when it recommends the time has come to take a break.

- Intelligent Trace Control, Intelligent Engine Brake & Intelligent Ride Control
