Just nine months into his tenure as President and Chief Executive Officer of Kia Motors Australia, Mr Woong (Ben) Hur has returned to Kia’s Seoul headquarters in a senior role, as leader of the North and Latin America Support Group as part of KMC’s global restructure.
Mr Hur’s replacement as President and CEO of KMAu is Mr Joonsu (James) Cho who takes up the role immediately.
“I am excited by the opportunity and looking forward to continuing the outstanding work of those who have gone before me,” Mr Cho said.
Mr Cho has most recently spent nearly two years as Team Leader for the Kia Western Europe Support Team and prior to that was for six years Chief Executive Coordinator for Kia United Kingdom.
He joined the Hyundai Motor Company in 1992 after graduating with an MBA from Michigan State University.
