Mitsubishi Motors Australia has released van pricing, warranty and service information for its revamped Express model van.
The manufacturer previously sold vans in Australia also under the Express name from 1980 to 2014 before withdrawing from the segment.
Mitsubishi will launch the Express will be available in both short and long wheelbase with a choice of manual and automatic transmissions, with prices starting at a competitive $38,490 plus on-road costs.
Interestingly the Express has been built by Renault in France, with the model being essentially a slightly rejigged Renault Trafic.
Mitsubishi Capped Price Servicing is available for the first 3 years/45,000km of ownership. Mitsubishi engineers have determined the optimal service interval for the Express is 15,000km, which is consistent with all Mitsubishi products.
The cost per service is just $250, and the cost of servicing over the first 3 years totals $750, ensuring owners will have some of the lowest running costs in the van segment.
The Express will officially go on sale July 6th. Express recommended retail pricing:
