Hyundai today announced an expanded model line-up and upgraded features across the award-winning i30 range.
The revised line-up is set to offer fleets and general consumers a wider variety of features and choices, including the introduction of a SmartSense safety option pack on Go and Active models.
In addition, the 2.0L GDi petrol is now available on Elite & Premium models, as well as other specification upgrades across the range.
Pricing for the entry level hatchback’s Go entry-level grade is unchanged remaining at $19,990 before on-road costs for the six-speed manual 120kW/2013Nm 2.0-litre GDi four-cylinder or $22,290 for the six-speed automatic.
Meanwhile the 100kW/280Nm 1.6-litre CRDi turbo-diesel i30 Go retains the same $22,490 and $24,990 price as before for manual and seven-speed dual-clutch automatic versions respectively.
New Features
2.0L GDi Petrol Engine (Elite & Premium models)
Increasing the appeal of the i30 range, powertrain options for Elite & Premium models have now been expanded to include the 120kW 2.0L GDi petrol engine paired exclusively with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
7-Speaker Infinity™ Premium Audio System (SR Premium & Premium models)
New to the i30 range, the 7-speaker Infinity premium audio system utilises an external amplifier and delivers a fuller frequency response, accurate bass reproduction, and distortion-free system performance at higher listening volumes.
Leather Appointed Steering Wheel & Gear Knob (Active model)
The addition of a leather appointed steering wheel & gear knob adds a premium touch to the value-packed i30 Active model.
SmartSense Pack (optional on Go & Active models)
Through the introduction of the SmartSense pack, automatic & DCT variants of the i30 Go & Active can now be optioned with advanced driver assist technologies. Priced at $1,750 the pack also includes several luxury features to further enhance its value proposition.

- Blind Spot Detection (BSD) with Lane Change Assist (LCA)
