Geotab will offer a scholarship to the industry contextualised Diploma of Leadership and Management facilitated by Swinburne University and their contribution will directly fund the launch of AfMA’s new membership type, an Accredited Individual Supplier.
To be AfMA accredited, individual sales people can apply for annual membership costing $165 including GST. Following payment they must complete the following 5 online courses with 100% pass score: –
- Who is AfMA
- Handling Conflict and Negotiation Ethically
- Change of Responsibility
- Work Health & Safety – the Mobile Workplace
- Risk and Hazard Management – the Mobile Workplace
The accreditation is designed to educate sales people on their responsibilities and those of their customers in providing a safe mobile workplace. Once accredited, members will be given access to various resources to provide to their customers raising awareness of safety and the mobile workplace and assisting sales people to become trusted business advisors. These new members will be required to complete new courses each year as part of their ongoing development and membership renewal.
