In an effort so support local government councils, AfMA is now offering free delegate passes valued at $2,020 to members from local government who wish to attend the Australasian Fleet Conference and Exhibition.
AfMA understands that local councils are experiencing fiscal challenges caused not only by the impact of COVID-19, but also increased operational expenses, scheduled award wage increases for staff, among others.
As a member-based not-for-profit, AfMA exists to assist members and providing free access to the biggest fleet conference to local government members is only one of the many ways the organisation links people and knowledge to create outcomes.
“Operational efficiencies, improved safety outcomes, and the need to reduce carbon emissions will be delivered through increasing awareness of alternatives to BAU, embracing technology, strategic planning, and development of sustainable solutions,” said AfMA Executive Director Mace Hartley.
