In 2017 the Australasian Fleet Management Association (AfMA) worked with Swinburne University to develop a Diploma of Leadership & Management that’s contextualised for the fleet and automotive industries.

This Diploma is the ideal steppingstone for your career and provides essential leadership and management skills for all automotive and fleet industry participants.

These core skills can be deployed across any department, finance, sales, operations and customer service. The program is focused on the everyday challenges and opportunities in managing your portfolios and teams, as well as providing effective leadership for the organisation.

The Lottery Corporation is currently seeking a Fleet Manager in Brisbane with AfMA’s Diploma or Leadership & Management listed under the heading “What you’ll bring?”.

Other skills and experience required for the role include:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Fleet Manager, including developing and executing fleet management strategies
  • Understanding of contractual obligations and risk accountability
  • Knowledge in fleet procurement, maintenance, and disposal

Participants

There will be between 12 to 16 participants in any one group.

Delivery Method

The diploma is delivered via nine online workshops over around 9 months. It includes assessments for each of the thirteen subjects and a presentation of a business project. There is also an option to attend a face to face day prior to the Australasian Fleet Conference & Exhibition. Those attending the face to face day save 50% on a conference ticket.
