What dates is the event running?
We will be broadcasting on Wednesday December 9 and 10 from 12pm-1:30pm AEDT
What time will the broadcast start for me?
We’re broadcasting to all regions internationally from 12pm AEDT. For Australian states and New Zealand that will be as follows:
- 9am – WA
- 10:30am – NT
- 11am – QLD
- 11:30am – SA
- 12pm – VIC, NSW, TAS, ACT
- 2pm – NZ
Will this be like a normal webinar?
Not at all. Forget fuzzy webcams and choppy audio – we’ll be streaming in full high definition from our dedicated broadcast studio filmed live from the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. We’ll feature the news, views, opinions and key topics that matter to you.
What format will the broadcast be similar to?
There’ll be live panels, opinion pieces, featured interviews and breaking news. Think of this event as AfMA’s version of Sunrise or The Today Show on steroids!
Who is hosting the event?
We will be guided by our experienced Master of Ceremonies Jon Faine (former host of ABC Radio’s Mornings program). Jon’s knowledge bridges current affairs, politics, social change, law, justice, media, business, ethics – but with a humorous and light touch.
