It is with great pleasure that we announce a significant three-year partnership with Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS). The globally renowned entity in insurance and risk management has formally aligned with AfMA as our most recent corporate partner.

Globally, ZRS provides customers with direct access to the expertise of its network of 800 Risk Engineers based in 40 countries, who operate worldwide to conduct some 60,000 risk assessments annually, plus countless Zurich experts in a variety of fields. In addition to this wealth of experience, ZRS continues to leverage cutting-edge tools, including its award-winning Zurich Risk Advisor for self-assessment.

ZRS services cover a broad variety of risk areas – far beyond property – including, for instance, employer’s liability, construction, motor fleet, and general liability. ZRS is leading the way in helping fleets to be safer, more resilient, and sustainable beyond crash avoidance by leveraging its wealth of expertise in employee well-being and safety capabilities. ZRS will strive to help AFMA members protect their employees, their mobile assets, and their ability to service their customers.

With this partnership, AfMA anticipates an enhancement in our capabilities, strengthening connections and facilitating an advanced environment for knowledge dissemination.

This will be achieved through our diverse activities, events, and resources designed expressly for our members and the overarching industry.

To further enrich the profession of fleet management, ZRS has graciously joined our existing AfMA partners in endorsing scholarships for Swinburne’s Diploma of Leadership and Management that’s been contextualised for the fleet and automotive industries.

ZRS is also supporting AfMA’s Industry Development Program (to be launched in the coming weeks) that will fund 100 passes each year to AfMA’s Australasian Fleet Conference & Exhibition to promote succession planning across the industry. ZRS’s commitment extends beyond these important initiatives, as they have pledged to be an active participant in AfMA’s educational and advocacy campaigns, championing the fleet industry and sharing their vast pool of expertise and best practices with our collective stakeholders.

Mervyn Rea, Head of ZRS, Australia & New Zealand said: “Zurich is committed to uplifting communities and industries through numerous avenues including its strategic partnerships. Aligning with AfMA not only underscores our commitment to the fleet and automotive sector but also offers an opportunity to pool resources, insights, and innovations.”

As we warmly integrate ZRS into our network of partners, we look forward with optimism to the numerous opportunities this alliance is ready to offer. Jointly, we commit to initiating innovative solutions and supporting every stakeholder within the fleet and automotive space. Unified in our objectives, we aim to drive sustainability and safety undertakings that not only enhance our sector but resonate meaningfully within the wider community.
