The Australasian Fleet Management Association proudly recognises Alan Reed for his contributions to our association and to the broader fleet industry as he enters his retirement.
With over 20 years of fleet Management experience, Alan has proven skills and leadership in managing the fleet operations of the Toowoomba Regional Council, alongside his earlier work in organisations such as Cement Australia and Brisbane City Council.
Moreover, Alan has proven to be an active member of the Australasian Fleet Management Association, serving as a loyal board and committee member for more than a decade, including a highly successful term as AfMA President.
He has also provided invaluable support to AfMA by serving on the Australasian Fleet Conference and Exhibition committee for many years, chairing regular board meetings, contributing knowledge to AfMA publications and in speaking to members and guests at our industry-led Professional Development Forums.
Alan is well regarded for his abilities in navigating the ‘age-divide’ within the fleet industry – being able to teach and inspire fleet veterans as well as mentoring the future generation on how to succeed and survive in a continually evolving industry. His ability to always bring the best out of others and also of himself is something that can never be understated.
We wish Alan all the best in his retirement and thank him once again for his passionate vigour and enthusiasm for his work. His ongoing contributions to AfMA will forever be cherished and remembered.
Thank you Alan!
With warm regards,
Australasian Fleet Management Association
