New dates announced for Australasian Fleet Conference & Exhibition 2020

I hope you, your families and businesses are safe, secure and braced from the impacts of COVID-19.

I’m excited to announce the new dates for our Australasian Fleet Conference & Exhibition being Monday & Tuesday 9th & 10th November 2020.

Our success in finding alternative dates is based on preempting the need to postpone the conference and comes after many discussions, negotiations and compromises aligning many stakeholders, including: –

Event Partners Toyota Fleet and Toyota Fleet Management
Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC)
Crown Casino for the conference networking dinner & awards night at the Palladium
Moreton Hire for the exhibition fit out
Touchpoint our delegate registration, APP and scanning solution
Jon Faine our MC and
Our entertainers

Importantly, here are the things you need to know: –

The location and overall format remain unchanged
For exhibitors, the bump-in will take place on a Sunday 8th November
The leaders of industry dinner will take place on Sunday night 8^th November
The conference dinner and fleet awards will take on Monday night 9th November
All sponsor, exhibitors and delegate bookings have been transfer to November

Now for the elephant in the room, what is the likelihood the conference will need to be rescheduled again due to COVID-19?

Unfortunately, no one can answer this question. COVID-19 is the largest global pandemic in the past 100 years. It’s hoped the restrictions on non-essential travel, gatherings, social distancing and time will allow us as a nation to return to normal, well the new normal (whatever that looks like) many months before the conference.
