With over 900 fleet professionals, suppliers, and industry leaders in attendance, your energy, insights, and engagement made this our biggest and most impactful Summit yet.
Over two packed days, attendees explored new technologies, shared practical advice, and proved that connection is key to industry success.
This year’s theme, “Stronger Together,” was brought to life through inspiring stories, real-world lessons, and a strong focus on safety, innovation, and leadership.
People, Purpose, and Progress
The event kicked off with a warm welcome from AfMA President Lee Sauerwald and energetic MC Lisa Panarello.
Keynote speaker Gerrard Gosens OAM moved the crowd with his story of resilience and teamwork. The day also featured sessions on AI in fleet management, EV battery science, safety culture, and data privacy.
A special panel highlighted the role of women in fleet, with lively discussion on how to support diversity and new ideas.
The day wrapped with the Industry Dinner and Fleet Awards, celebrating excellence in leadership, safety, and sustainability:
- Fleet Manager of the Year – Michael Mills, Essential Energy (sponsored by bp and Geotab)

Tech, Safety, and Smarter Fleets
Day Two turned the spotlight on future tech and smarter fleet practices.
Digital tools like AI agents and humanoid robots were explored, along with EV emissions testing, ADAS calibration, grey fleet safety, and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) energy tech.
Human factors also played a big role with keynotes focused on driver behaviour, battery fire safety, and moving from basic training to true capability-building.
The exhibition floor stayed buzzing both days, with hands-on demos, vehicle test drives, and plenty of peer-to-peer learning.
