Transitioning your fleet to electric vehicles (EVs), means lower ongoing maintenance costs while helping to reduce emissions. It’s a win-win!
So, what’s been holding you back from electrifying your fleet?
If you answered procurement costs, this is your chance to get funding to support the purchase of new battery or fuel cell EVs, thanks to the Drive electric NSW EV fleets incentive.
The NSW Government incentive will be delivered through a reverse auction, with round one registrations now open!
There are two funding streams – fleets and aggregators – with different eligibility requirements, so make sure to read through the incentive guidelines.
To take part, you will request funding to go towards the difference in battery or fuel cell EV ownership costs compared to a traditionally fuelled vehicle. This will be ranked against other bidders based on the amount of funding requested per tonne of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) saved.
There is a fair amount of information you need to enter into the bidding platform for this to be calculated, so make sure you download the bidding checklist to help you get prepared.
Once you have all the information you need your initial bid can be made from 13 December 2021.
